LABOR DAY 2020 UPDATE: As you know, in years past, the university has been closed to observe Labor Day as a paid holiday. However, due to changes in the Fall Semester schedule that have arisen from COVID-19 planning, certain offices on campus must remain open and available for service on Labor Day 2020. Therefore, rather than eliminating the day altogether from our paid holiday benefits for 2020, this holiday has been converted to a "floating holiday." Employees required to work on Labor Day may “float” the holiday to Wednesday, November 25 ( the day before Thanksgiving) and take that day as a paid holiday benefit instead. As always, please coordinate your work schedule with your supervisor.
